Spark Joy with Wine Temperature

I have noticed the that the serving temperature of a wine is often overlooked but the serving temperature of a wine is extremely important and crucial to unlocking the full flavor and aromas of a wine.
As Jancis Robinson states "It is impossible to over-estimate the effect of serving temperatures on how a wine will taste. Serving a wine at the most flattering temperature may seem absurdly high-falutin' and precious as an activity, but it really can transform ink into velvet and, conversely, zest into flab." link to a very easy to read and informative piece here.
Many wines are served above their ideal temperature. It is important to remember that each wine has an ideal serving temperature and one temperature is not suitable for all. I found this excellent chart on wineware.co.uk to help:
Now. How to get the temperature right? There are many immersion wine thermometers on the market which are all very useful but there are not many external thermometers that we have found that can alert you when your wine has reached optimum drinking temperature - the one we have found and wholeheartedly support is the Kelvin K2 pictured above.
I am guilty of the habits in this review and have made a commitment to change "Most people will serve red wine at room temperature; typically about 21°C (70°F). However, red wine should be served 12-18°C (54-64°F), cooler than the typical house. A few minutes in the fridge will improve the flavors and with the K2 you can ensure that you do not leave it for too long."
In this review " Who is this gadget going to be most useful for: Anyone who is keen to be more accurate about the serving temperatures for their wines and wants a real time temperature monitoring system. It is useful for keeping track of the temperature of your wine while it being served so that you can keep your wines in that ‘best drinking’ temperature range".
