About Daryl


An inventor and engineer Daryl grew up in Melbourne Australia where he trained to be a commercial pilot. His flying career spanned freight, commercial and private jet aviation based in Australia, America, Europe and Asia for over 40 years until retirement at 65.

Upon retirement Daryl turned his hand to solving a problem he faced often during his flying career (finding opened wine oxidized and spoiled the next day or when he returned from each trip). It was through a lucky combination of the discovery that argon was the perfect gas to preserve wine and reconnecting with an old friend who had inherited an aerosol design and manufacture business that they managed after a year of trial and error to invent Winesave® an aerosol that can keep the tiny gaseous element under pressure and dispense in a controlled fashion.


What is Winesave®?


The world's first, patent-pending, hand-held canister containing 100% argon gas that is naturally occurring and food grade. Argon is nature's perfect wine preserver as it's inert, tasteless and heavier than air.
